Comcast Business DDoS Mitigation Service is a scalable solution providing real-time detection of volumetric or flood attacks, State/TCP Exhaustion and application layer attacks on your Comcast Business Ethernet Dedicated Internet service.

Two service levels available:

  1. Single Incident Service Option includes one mitigation incident in a monthly billing cycle. After one mitigation incident is used, an additional 
mitigation incident will require an incremental charge. A mitigation incident is a 24-hour time window in which Comcast Business provides the customer with DDoS mitigation as necessary.
  2. Unlimited Service Option provides an unlimited number of mitigation incidents in a monthly billing cycle. No incremental mitigation incident fees will be charged with this option.

Comcast Business SecurityEdge is a robust cloud-based security solution designed for small businesses to help block cybersecurity threats and help prevent employees and customers from infecting their devices, business, and data when connecting to the Internet. This solution blocks access to compromised websites and helps prevent employees from clicking infected links.

It complements other security solutions such as anti-virus and firewalls by helping to protect against cybersecurity threats including malware, ransomware, phishing and botnet infections. This solution is unique from others in the category in that it protects all connected devices without requiring individual software downloads to each device. With more connected devices in business today – including things like wireless printers and other endpoints – as well as a growing number of devices used by employees and customers, having all connected devices protected is crucial. Further, the security is always updating to protect from the latest threats, knowing that cybersecurity issues are changing constantly.

It also provides the option to use web content filter to block employees or guests from visiting inappropriate content while on your network connection.
